European Topography

Interesting colour print from a painting by Aelbert Cuyp titled "Avenue At Merdervoltl" Circa. 1920.

This print shows a wonderful avenue with trees side by side of the pathway. On the path a man with a couple of his horses, he is walking holding their reins, a cow is sat close by just watching. At the side there is a stream with a couple of men fishing, you can also see a few windmills in the background. The print is 15" x 11" with the portrait being 10" x 6 1/2".

Lovely steel engraved print by J T Willmore, of F Danby's painting 'Gate of the Seraglio-Constantinople'. The page size is 10 1/2" x 13 1/2". Some light foxing and a small tear to right edge approx 1/4" long. Edges slightly creased with slight soiling to right edge.
