This decorative print shows Alfred sat down witha man on one side and a woman with four children on the other and he is dividing a load of bread between them. It is engraved by J. Rogers from the earlier painting by B. West. The size of the print is approx 11" x 7". There is moderate foxing. mainly to the edges of the print.

Fine quality steel-line engraved print titled 'Battle of Hopton Heath.' The Battle was on the 19th of March. 1643. The outcome was indecisive. The Parliamentarians lost many artillery pieces and left the field to the Royalists, although the Royalists Commander, The Earl of Nottingham was killed in action. Engraved by J. T. Willmore from the earlier painting by G. Cattermole. Print size approx 10 1/2" x 7". There is slight foxing, mainly to the edges of the print.
