Fine Quality Steel-line portrait engraving by E. Challis of the Citadel of Quebec from a drawing by W. H. Bartlett.

The imposing Citadel overlooks the busy deepwater anchorage of Quebec harbor and Louise Basin. A Monument to the British General James Wolfe. who was killed in the final battle of the French expedition against Quebec of 1759 is visible at the right hand edge of the engraving. This page is 10 1/2" x 6 1/2".

Very Good Condition. with browning round page edges.
