The size of the map is 280mm x 218mm. This map was engraved by J. & C. Walker from the original drawing by R. Creighton. The map is uncoloured, as originally issued. There is moderate foxing to the map and some blurring to the text in places.

Interesting and detailed coloured map titled British Isles. The map size is 22 x 16 inches. The corners on the map are bumped with very slight loss, there is a small ink stain to the bottom corners which does not impair the images and there is a very small tear to the bottom middle edge approx. 1/2 inch. The map shows England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. There are two smaller maps showing the Channel Islands and the Shetland Islands. The scale of the map is shown in English Miles. Geographical Miles. Kilometres.
