Also bound in is a Rare author inscribed copy of John Tait's (Irish Poet 1748-1817), Poetical legends, containing the American Captive and the Fatal Feud, to which is added the fall of faction, a poetical vision. 1776. 48 pages. Owners name inscribed on front end page. Bookplate on front end page. There are tears to various pages throughout book with some loss but does not seem to effect text. Hinges are cracked. Corners slightly worn. Pages have crinkled from damp.

Engraved portrait frontis's. Bookseller/book binders label, J. Price of Bath. Hinge starting to crack on volume one thought the boards are firm and slight tape glue marks to the head of spine. Some damage to the same area and label. Marbled end pages. Very light foxing. Bright and clean internally. Nice set.
